Asthma owes its name only when a person is having the attack of broncho-spasm with symptoms like -shortness of breathing or hurried, quick, oppressed breathing -which may occur at any time, i.e. , at night, mid-night, in cold wet season, in hot humid weather, during hay-fever, inhaling dust or smoke or in a person having cardiac or lungs affectionsi.e. , weak heart or lung trouble like emphysema, chronic bronchitis), with other causes like nervous irritations, gastric problems, stress and strain producing digestive problems, etc.

Symptoms : General Symptoms of Asthma. The attack of asthma may occur at any time. Many people are allergic, and most of them suffer with nasal rather than bronchial asthma. There is cough with difficult, hurried oppressed breathing, patient sits up in bed and gasps for breathing.
Shortness of breath with other signs for want of oxygen-such as laboured breathing, blue lips and rapid beating heart. (2) Wheezing respiration - a low pitched breathing sound made by air passing through narrow mucus filled bronchi, or after broncho-spasm. (3) Cough that produces expectoration.
Bronchial asthma is named when air is obstructed in the bronchial tubes due to their loading with dried or thick humid - mucus or broncho spasm causing whistling and wheezing respiration( a low pitched breathing sound) accompanied with broncho-spasm or loading of mucus in the tubes. Bronchial asthma is not always allergic but it is the obstruction in the bronchial tubes, or broncho-spasm i.e. , spasm of muscles of the bronchial tubes, with wheezing respiration -with general symptoms as stated up. In short, there are three features of bronchial asthma

 KP3X, MP3X, NM3X, NS3X, or 6X, -2-4 grains may be alternated with any indicated homoeo medicine.
