treatment for anorexia : An individual feels normal appetite daily, but due to some defects in the gastric system, a patient avoids taking regular meals or takes less food than usual. In such case, he is suffering from anorexia or loss of appetite.

Causes and Symptoms : Gastric derangements, disorders after protracted (lengthened) illness, and acute diseases. After functional disorders in the digestive organs ie., inactiveness of liver, pancreas, intestines, slow pushing action of the intestines causing accumulation of faeces in them for abnormal time - causing great constipationa responsible for anorexia. Week digestion, chronic gastro-enteritis, colitis, malnutrition, constipation alternating diarrhoea. Anaemia, lack of blood in body, lack of vital heat required for normal digestion, suppressed diseases- like malaria, measles, sweat, after cold exposure of hot body. Over drugging, warmth and beat of sun, sunstroke, fever, irregular timings of meals, wrong components of diet- ie., taking of fruit Mango, Melon during or after meals, with curd as one of the dishes of meals. Chain smoking of Charass and Ganja, excess use of coffee or tea
 Cures or good appetizers
Cure : Hydrast-30, in loss of appetite with bitter taste after liver affection, inactiveness and not functioning properly, resulting atonic or weak digestion with heavy coated, white, large 'flabby, slimy, ulcerated, scalded tongue having imprints of teeth on its edges, headache due to constipation, due to defective and irregular assimilation of food, aphthae during constipation and gastric disorder.
Nux.v. 30, after meals, KM3x, NM3x, NP3x, NS3x-4 grains dose after 30 minutes of Nux. v. and Alfalfa-Q + aletris-Q, 5 drops dose before meals. Cures common or simple loss of appetite, with great mental depression, exhaustion, weak digestion, excessive wind, flatulence dyspepsia, weakness, dullness, and lassitude in persons who are having sedentary habits of continuous sitting, with ineffectual urging - unsatisfactory and scanty-stool; Nausea and sensation of vomiting after meals with chilliness.
