: Homeopathy is the application of the law of similars. This means that you give a substance, to a sick person, that has been shown to create the same symptoms in the healthy. It cannot be "homeopathic" until it has been prescribed on the basis of the Law of Similars. Just because a substance has been manufactured using homeopathic processes (dynamization) does not mean it is "homeopathic." Substances are NOT homeopathic of themselves. They become "homeopathic" only upon the application to the case AND after they have cured. -Julian Winston.
The use of combination remedies doesn't make sense to me because whether the patient gets better or worse, you won't know why, which makes it very difficult to know what to do next in the case. We need to learn from our precise observations so we can grow as homeopaths.
